The Subacuatic Association of Casares organizes the VII International Cleaning of Marine Funds and Beaches, of the Network of Marine Volunteers, that will take place next Saturday 25 September. This network of solidarity divers have been fighting marine garbage since the year 2013.

The cleaning will take place by volunteer divers in the seabed near the port of the Duchess and on land with all those volunteers who wish to participate. Subsequently, the waste collected in their respective containers will be classified and deposited.

The Mediterranean marine group collaborates with this activity by giving a support vessel for the divers and offering drinks and a snack to the participants.

This activity is based on the Network of Marine Volunteers and the Libera program. Besides, For the second consecutive year, Pescanova collaborates by swapping the kilos of waste removed by kilos of food that will donate to the Spanish Food Banks Federation.
