The Estepona Marina will host next Saturday 25 October the Estepona Sea Festival, an event organized by Marinas del Mediterráneo and the Real Club Náutico de Estepona and sponsored by the Provincial Council of Málaga through the Senda Azul project.
It is a day designed to bring natural wealth closer, cultural and human from the sea to citizens, framed within the provincial program “Sea Festivals in the Ports: “a new way of living the Costa del Sol”. This initiative aims to highlight the ports and coastlines of the province as meeting spaces., culture and sustainability, with activities that promote knowledge and respect for the marine environment.
María Esperanza González Pazos, deputy delegate of Sustainable Economic Development of the Provincial Council of Malaga, highlighted during the presentation that “from the Provincial Council, through the Senda Azul project, We continue to focus on valuing our marine and underwater environment. We want citizens to know it and enjoy it with respect and sustainability., and the Estepona Sea Festival is a great opportunity to do so.”
A day full of activities for all audiences
The Estepona Sea Festival will begin at 10:00 hours with sailing courses, rowing and paddle surfing organized by the Real Club Náutico de Estepona. There will be three shifts—of 10:00 a 12:30 hours, of 12:30 a 15:00 hours and 15:30 a 18:00 hours—designed for different ages and levels. These activities will take place in the Nautical Club building., and people interested in participating can register directly at the Club facilities or by phone 625 142 465.
Throughout the day, of 10:00 a 19:00 hours, Attendees will be able to visit the diving equipment exhibition, where the equipment and technology used in the underwater world will be displayed, by Buceo Estepona, located in the lower part of the Nautical Club.

at noon, of 14:00 a 16:00 hours, The Club Náutico Restaurant will offer a tasting of seafood paella, the proceeds of which will go to a local charity. The food will have a solidarity character, with a symbolic donation of 5 euros for the plate of paella and the drink.
Documentary and music to close the day
In the afternoon, at 17:30 hours, the screening of the documentary “Málaga Submergida” will take place, that invites you to discover the biodiversity and the wonders hidden under the waters of the province. The presentation will feature the participation of Pablo Murga, Naval Commander of Malaga, and Javier Noriega, president of the Maritime-Marine Cluster of Andalusia (CMMA), who will share their vision about the richness of the Malaga coast and the importance of its conservation.
José Antonio Corbacho, president of the Royal Nautical Club of Estepona, has pointed out that “for the Nautical Club it is a pride to participate together with Marinas del Mediterráneo and the Provincial Council on this day dedicated to the sea.”.
